 from the series lll-lllllllllll, the first san diego presentation of
sound work llllll. described as intricate, indifferent, forceful-- it is
presented with images of pieces of ships and water. the source(s) and
the technique of composition are not specified.  its accompanying
writing is to be given to the first 50 in attendance.

ilya monosov:
 ilya monosov will be performing 3 pieces. the first is a sound poem derived
fromtapes of stroke patient's sound-therapy sessions conducted by ilyam
onosov
in portland, oregon. additional work was done by larry polansky to prepare
the
piece  for its soon release.  secondly, he will perform a study of sound he
composed during  the test tryouts of his multiple audio research box and
sand box
for children, both objects lead to the development of this sound-touch
study. the
last piece, is titled "romeo and juliet" and will be explained by the
composer during
the performance.
