Position Summary:

The School of Contemporary Arts at the University of Western Sydney 
is a dynamic, cross-disciplinary school offering key programs in Fine 
Arts, Music, Electronic Arts (New Media), Theatremaking, Dance, and 
Performance at
Undergraduate and Postgraduate level.

The School has a strong reputation for excellence in the music 
technology and sonic arts areas and is committed to the exploration 
of emerging developments and experimental work in the field. The 
School is seeking to appoint a
full time Senior Lecturer in Music Technology. The position requires 
teaching in both the B.Music and B.Electronic Arts awards and the 
supervision of postgraduate students. The appointee will be a 
practicing composer or
artist/producer with a significant profile in his or her field and 
will be capable of demonstrating academic leadership in developing 
the School's undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the area. A 
broad knowledge of current developments in computer music and 
experimental audio is essential, as is the capacity to work 
collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary school.
