Well, Dale, the comment you made before about Aaron's brother (perhaps 
you know Aaron's brother, which might be why you made it) 
suggested/implied that politics and Buddhism were separate animals.  Now 
I agree with your obvious point above that philosophies and practices 
are very often (if not always) divergent.  But I also think it's very 
clear, from both theory and practice, that politics and Buddhism go 
together like rice and curry.

I'll leave aside the Tao, once again, which is a whole different matter.
