Abflug arrives

Abflug is a new label dedicated to electronic music
and video arts. From warm soundscapes to echoing
glitch, from ambient and crunchbeat to deep techno,
the aural criteria for Abflug releases is not limited
by any specific genre or sound--despite the obvious
nod to German influences. Our intent is to be
deliberately random. 

Audiovisual releases

Insofar as is possible, each Abflug release will
include both an audio and a visual element. As such
the medium of these will necessarily be CD; however we
are not averse to the occasional vinyl pressing. The
two components will be complimentary but not
necessarily from the same artist. 

Accepting demos

While we prefer demos submitted as web links via email
to info@xxxxxxxxx, we also accept DVD, CD, MiniDisc,
cassette, VHS, and Super8 formats. The Abflug website
is under construction and will soon be up at
www.abflug.tk. We also collect (empty) air sickness
bags, particularly from defunct airliners. If you send
us one we'll maybe for sure release your music. We can
be bought.
