hi all,

sorry if my question has been asked a thousand times before!

i've just bought a second hand imac and have been busy trying out the joys of freeware such as soundhack, thonk and argeiphontes lyre. this is my first time trying out making music entirely on a computer. now i've got lots of really nice sounds, but i can't find any editing freeware that will help me do simple things like cut, paste and fade sounds to try and get them in some sort of order. can anyone help with suggestions?
