but did you steal those mp3:s or had the artists decided to make them available for download as promotion?

there is a world of difference.

and it really is the main question: who should decide what can be downloaded for free? the artists or a bunch of college kids or your mother or ... ?

(and no disrespect to anyones mother intended ;=))
