it'll run max/msp of course but it's hard for me to quantify its 
performance without knowing exactly how it is going to be used.  it 
won't be able to do anything terribly complex by today's standards, but 
msp was released before G3s were even around, so back in the day the 
wallstreet would be a dream machine.  if you've willing to give up 
portability, the best used Mac value by far is the original iMac.  make 
sure to get one of the revs without a fan!  best studio computer ever.

i hate this whole accelerated culture thing.
