though in general i would love to chat with other members of the group about
theoretical texts, i support kasper. to focus on books would cause an excluding
effect on many who are not in the anglophone world. the expenses for i.e. me in
germany would be high, the delay in the delivery of such a book might even last
weeks and if i got it, it maybe ain't topic anymore.

the idea of essays seems to me much more interesting, especially it would allow
us to include online resources too (which might be a valuable resource too, as
not all good texts are printed ones).
