I for one am grateful for all of the information on where to track things
down for purchase (yes, purchase - I try to support artists making this
music wherever possible - my little bit to save the world from, as someone
so eloquently put it "lunch-time fruity loops shit"). Many (most) releases
don't show up at the local record store (even if that happens to be Other
Music or Etherea). In any case, I don't see the logic here. Announcing the
release is somehow ok, but a link to where it's available is a capitalist
crime? Anyone reading the post is free to click the link or not. The
audience is still "allowed" to act in whichever they see fit.

This is a revolution? My personal theory is that cavemen banging rocks
together (the original wigout) were not concerned about "exchange or use
value". Indeed, amateurs never have been. But yes, people that have made the
commitment to their art to the extent that they live from it certainly are
concerned about its "exchange value", and for their courage and dedication
these people have my undying respect (especially in a genre like
microsound). The world is a little bit less full of "lunch-time fruity loops
shit" on account of them.
hugs,
Michael
