The file is indeed of type Real Player
I clicked on the link and the audio played right away.
I am using Real Player version 8 so you may want to consider upgrading.
Do *not* however upgrade to Real ONE. That's a complete mess.

Real Player is not so bad as you say.
After install go to view/preferences/General
then disable StartCenter. After this it will no longer run on startup.

The trick to downloading Real Player is downloading one of their older
players. The newest one is always just the latest Beta so it's often buggy.
