networked laptop performances

Greetings, folks.

I've been writing about laptop performance in terms of spatial poetics,
particularly in distributed modes of performance/collaboration/reception.
I'd like to emphasize the role of the networked laptop in performances that
make use of live/direct Internet sources--through direct file download,
browser-based mixes, interacting streams/live multidirectional remixes. This
positions laptop performance in the traditions of broadcast technologies and
issues of transmission, in the senses of interactive radio and mobile PA
systems.

I'm looking to hear from folks who are either doing or know about works in
this vein. So far, I've thought of:

* Radiotopia, Ars Electronica 2003
* Atau Tanaka's network music projects
* Andi Freeman and Jason Skeet, <earshot>
* Peter M. Traub, Bits & Pieces: A Sonic Installation for the Web
* Brian Kane, 8 Track
* em.chia's mixes, one up on Stasis_space right now

All of these exemplify the networked aspect. Any further leads on
performers/networks specifically working along these lines on laptop, with
examples or materials I could point to and discuss?

Thanks for any nudges in interesting directions.
