Culture becomes Cultured gets Labeled then/and Evaluated by Akademics and 
then Cataloged and Displayed by Museums.  But somewhere along the line the 
galleries also have a hand in this process...

So I guess the next step for "Academic" computer music is the creation of a 
museum for computer music, which I bet will be happening sometime soon. 
There is already atleast one gallery in NYC devoted to sound art.
