Thanks to everyone who responded to my request for a French translation of 
'microsound'- interesting answers, and a few poetic suggestions. If I could 
ask a follow-up question- some of us on this list would use the term 
'microsound' to describe the type of music we make- what terms do 
French-speaking artists on this list use to describe their music? I have the 
impression that suggestions like 'micro-son' or 'micro-sonorite' are not in 
wide use. I'm asking on behalf of someone who is attempting to translate a 
call for sound works, and is hoping to embrace all forms of non-commercial 
electronic sonics. Thanks again,
