since when has the US given a shit about the iraqi people? did you hear anyone talking about human rights violations in iraq for the past few years? outside of human rights org's, no. like someone else said, human rights violations are happening in venezuela and many other countries im sure. except that venezuela doesnt seem to be much of a "threat" as iraq is, so the US need not worry about liberating the people being tortured and murdered by their own government there.
