I haven't heard about this - I was free to choose where to live. What
encourages many immigrants to live in the settlements are the low real
estate prices and lower taxes, the last being in fact an expression of
government pro-settlement policy.
I would never go live there, as Tel-Aviv with its non-stop club life, its
beaches, its cafes, its love parades is much more fun.
So if you ask me there's every reason in the world to refuse to live in the
settlements. But we have our own cowboys and our own indians who seem to
enjoy the game. :(
