AudioMulch-type programs for Mac

Hi all,

There was a thread on this topic recently, but unfortunately, I no
longer have the emails from it. Anyone who has any suggestions for free
or cheap Mac (OS 9 or X) programs which duplicate some or all of the
functionality of AudioMulch for PC, I would be very appreciative. 

For those who don't know, AudioMulch is a modular synthesis/processing
environment. It has both built-in modules and supports VST plugins.
