My technical mistake, yes, some Mac app makers suffix their library
files with .dll as a naming convention.

I see many .dlls from Real too, now that I look. 

I do stand by my statement that Norton will not screw up that sort of
file on a Mac (barring any generalized failed recovery attempt where any
number of files may be left unsuccessfully repaired)
