a "city of the future" book

I just finished the novel "Super-Cannes" by J.G. Ballard. A magnificent
piece of work and a book which coincidentally intersects with the topic of
a future city, discuesed in quite a scary way.
He discribes a city that "Once you dispense with morality the important
decisions become a matter of aesthetics" A definitely highly recommended
book!

Anybody have any recommendations of books discussing future environments?
