hello,
so yes, i'm mostly a lurker. i'm not really new to electronic music per se,
but i've been on the nerdy side of the fence for a long time - you guys have
more fun! i am, however, very new to the genre that this list is devoted to,
and i've learned about lots of great music here, so many thanks to the
collective.
so i spent most of the day hacking a max patch for an upcoming show at
tonic, finally got the 2 year old to bed, and popped open a bottle of
chianti that just tasted especially yummy. started playing w. my patch, and
at a certain point arbitrarily hit record. below is an unedited 'spew log'.
now that you know its genesis, you can't blame me if you think it sucks, or
if sounds like someone just stream of consciousness jamming, because, um,
that's all it is. i remember kind of liking it, so i thought i'd pass it
along on the theory that perhaps my sense of taste isn't completely
singular.
