Neither speech nor writing are collapsable to the other. However, a general
writing exceeds both speech and writing. Insofar as both require a schema or
system of the mark (of presence), and of the sonic (some say voice, or
phonos). And again: speech is often privileged over writing, although
presenced in its inverse.

Major, major deal on that one. And if you think you're just gonna get away
with it by saying "blah blah blah," I'm gonna through big ass books at your
head. Then remix it on a turntable at high volume.

And whaddya mean "speech might be sound..."?

Geesh, even small children understand that talking = sound. It's not too
much of a stretch to understand the VERY BIG connections between writing and
speech. Moreover, of an always-already writing.

Thimk harder.
