KYMA VS MAX7MSP

Hi there..i am considering to buy a basic kyma/capybara system..i've
gathered informations and listened samples from Synbolic Sound Corporation
web site....it seems to me a quite impressive kind of gear..however i'am in
trouble consedring the cost and i'am considering more economic solutions for
a flexible dsp gear ,above all MAX/MSP.....i think they have no the same
potentiality,but i need a close look a kyma/capibara..As i live in italy
this is not easy..so if anyone the have gained  a deep perspective on that
system and is also keen on  using MAX/MSP is welcom to tell me the story!
