Abflug02 Approaching

Abflug02 is now approaching, and is due to land at the
end of next week. Titled 'Ikkuna/In Army Of Lovers,'
the second Abflug release features music by French
musician Verhaverbeke Krzyzosiak and video by
Lithuanian Vygandas Simbelis. We'll post more
information when the CD becomes available.

Both this release and Abflug01 Connections/Apinavideo
will be available for sale at Myymälä2, a new art
gallery in Helsinki on Sunday, June 1. Check out the

In other Abflug news, Karri O. will be performing at
the Electro Organic Sound System stage at this year's
infamous OM music festival in Ontario, Canada on June

later this month.

Abflug is a new Helsinki, Finland-based label
dedicated to electronic music and video arts. The
aural criteria for Abflug releases ranges from
soundscapes to echoing glitch to ambient to crunchbeat
to deep techno. Each Abflug release will include both
an audio and a visual element. The two components,
music and video, are complimentary but separate, and
not necessarily by the same artist.
