So theres a new performance space opening up in Hell=B9s Kitchen, NYC, called
The Tank.=20
This is absolutely the first you=B9ve heard of it, because as of today there
are still no lights, sound system, chairs, beer, or flooring.
But there will be. Oh yes. There will be.
The Tank is(will be) an experimental theater/music/film/variety arts space
on 42nd street between 9th and 10th ave.
Someone gave me the basement to do with as I please, and so im turning it
into a newMedia gallery slash experimental music performance space. Why?

But I=B9ll announce events for the space when the time is right.

This email, instead, is an attempt to find a few local
electronica/glitchy/laptop type folk who might be interested in playing the
opening night fundraiser/openHouse. This is going to be a very large event,
with lots of people coming to the space, so a nice happy crowd is assured.
Money is not. Its a fundraiser, y=B9understand.
Basically there will be some rock/theater/comedy upstairs till about 10pm,
then the rest of the night is for milling about and socializing. I want to
have some chilled, beat-based stuff going on downstairs late night so peopl=
e
can chill down there and check out art and drink and feel cool.

We have a liquor license, a beautiful enclosed courtyard, and no residentia=
l
neighbors.=20
