[OT] snake quality audio questions

Hi, I will keep this short. If there is an appropriate list, please
lmk (off list if you can).

I was buying snakes for an analog studio and the tech guy at HOSA
told me about their premium brand, which he said blew away ProCo,
Rapco etc. It is found here, with a lot of technical notes.

I know it seems ridiculous, but it will be used with a 1" Ampex
machine that has been restored and a MOTU HD 192 (both very hi-fi),
so I am wondering if the snakes really will limit the fidelity if I
use normal HOSA copper. I have heard there is an audible difference.

Does anyone have an opinion on this, or on the HD 192?  If so please
contact me off list.
