ok... so how did this make you feel? did you snicker at the "not 
nearly as informed and cool"? does this set-up the whole "laptop 
scene" as a bunch of pretentious insiders, enjoying the fact that 
nobody "gets it" but ourselves and our cool friends?

perhaps this is why so many in this realm complain or warn of the 
"sellout"... because as more and more people come to understand the 
genre, so too the aura of our marginalized "subculture" is 
diminished...

just blowin smoke rings...
