For what its worth, a collaborator of mine (who's a professional web
artist) bought of one the first titaniums fairly soon after they came
out and  was kind of annoyed a then top of the line unit lacked a basic
audio input. He went for the iMic soon after it came out but at least
the iMics shipping at the time coupled with with the OS which I believe
was still 9.1, anyway he found it unusable because he was getting some
amount of clicks or audible noises from hard disk writing coming through
on an input line level signal. I think Griffin offered him a replacement
but couldn't explain what was going on, he took a refund instead.

 Then to sort of compound things he next bought a well under $100 Onkyo
USB Audio interface (the upright desktop one) So now he has no noise
issues but apparently the latency on their unit leaves much to be desired.
