The Placard Festival NYC is now accepting proposals for live performers
of 
experimental/computer/noncomputer/improvisational/nonimprovisational/soundsc

The deadline for proposals is June 20th.
The festival will take place on July 18-19th in NYC at the Spaceworks
Gallery / The Tank (http://www.thetanknyc.com), so please keep that in mind
when applying. We have no funds available for travel costs, but would of
course love to have you here all the same. If you are interested in
performing via the cyber web, please mention that as well.
The venue is quite unique and has 5 different staging areas suitable for a
full range of experimental performance. We are on 42nd street near Times
Square and have a floor-to-ceiling glass wall directly on 42nd street. There
are two performance areas on the main floor, the main gallery space in the
basement, a beautiful little dungeon room in the basement complete with
astroturf and fake flowers, and finally a private outdoor courtyard(and no
residential neighbors!). Let your imagination guide
you. 

We are looking for people who are pushing the boundries of whatever it is
they do. We are only slightly bored of watching someone staring at a laptop
screen for an hour. Unless you sound really fucking cool doing it.
Live video artists are also encouraged to submit work for review.
