neuromancer soundtrack - was snow crash

all this talk of _snow crash_ reminded me of how my friend and i used to 
talk about how cyberpunk novels could be appropriately be translated into 
films.  i think this is an interesting idea considering big box-office 
smashers and microsound friendly movies such _the matrix_.  anyhow, my 
friend and i decided that if there were ever a _neuromancer_ film made it 
would have to be directed by Shinya Tsukamoto (tetsuo films and tokyo fist) 
and it would have to have the most amazing soundtrack ever.  some names that 
made the list were autechre, public enemy, cannibal ox / el-p, xanopticon, 
merzbow (venerology era), wolf eyes, napalm death, and suicide.  i can't 
remember the others but the list got to be pretty extensive.  i wanted to 
list vangelis, but my friend wouldn't have it.  anyway, i'm curious as to 
what other artists or even specific pieces do any of you would be 
appropriate for "real" cyberpunk film.
