its a ground loop problem.  unplug the laptop from A/C and it will go away.
you can get line conditioners that fix it, but normally, if everything thats
plugged into the mixer is on the same circuit, you'll be fine.

we just went over this a few weeks ago here, I dunno if there are archives
you can search.
