Artists who also work for software companies

I am doing a presentation for a local consortium (The Redwood Technology
Consortium) of technology businesses about The Committee for Promoting
Electronic Art in the County of Humboldt.

To help the cause... could those of you who are artists and also work in the
tech sector or telecommute for a living, sound in.

If  anyone knows of some helpful stats please feel free to point me in the
right direction.
