You are all far, far too practical. Forget points. Forget possibility.
Droplifting will not end capitalism. This isn't the point. That's obvious &
there are no pretense for this being or becoming revolutionary activity.

Art doesn't need a point. Moreover, art isn't about possibility. We don't
need to stand & bicker about the possibilities of the droplift: will X
person achieve capitalism-consciousness, will someone realise what is going
on, will this fuck the system, will this only add dollars to the store will
this work will this matter will anyone know will I know that it worked what
if I don't know am I supposed to know do they know that I know will this
will that ... FUCK!

It's not _about_ possibility .. // it's not _about_ anything:

.. it's potential.

Droplift until exhaustion sets in.

Then move on.

Nothing more.

Let potential unfold itself. The original droplift project Began. & so it
goes [Kurt Vonnegut sample .. play it here ..] .. so let us droplift the
droplift.org project. There is no "proper" droplift. Of course there are
difficulties with music stores, with your particular scenario -- so do it
somewhere else! Do it wherever you want! Whenever you want! Whyever! With
whatever explanation or excuse -- or none at all! Make it a secret! Make it
public! Make it both! You electronic artists, open your minds! Electronic
art is so contained, so pure in its CD packaging: rip it out! All of you!
Rip it out! .. Let all those grandparently worries wash out & away: stop
reinforcing the scolding tone, the cynicism -- even if it takes a commandin=

rhetoric! [But how the other half of us laughs at our attempts at manifest
