[microsound] ever-sharing
As I think I just can't get through the firewall with
hotline at my job (I'd like to waste tax-payers money
too!), i'll just lend you a few ideas:
++From: "dp" <dp@xxxxxxxxxx>:
++should there be only one copy, or could there be
more?
My opinion is that the one copy only would enhance
the 'unique experience feeling'. No one is listening
to this at the same moment as me. But group
listenings could be okay if nobody listen to it
twice. In fact I think it would be even best if the
tracks could not be found anywhere else (not even on
the net).
We should drop the "we should infect the most people
possible with our marvelous virus" reflex for that
one.
++From: "pelagius pelagius" <pela_gius@xxxxxxxxxxx>:
++The CD could include a little booklet where people
can
++write their name/date/location. And maybe an e-mail
++address where people could send comments, thoughts,
etc.
++and they could be collected on the microsound site.
Yeah, excellent idea. And maybe a little place in the
booklet for comments or poems or drawings to make the
object a growing refuge. And if we could find any way
to make the giving moment a special moment...
Especially when one gives to a person he/she doesn't
know.
And it could be cool to disappear behind the CD, i
mean to not tell the bearers that "the microsound
list community started this..." but "this
ever-sharing audio-object is ... and wants you not
to... but in fact you know you can do it if you
really want..."
++From: "pAn" <dead.state.81@xxxxxxxxxxx>:
++what if everybody that tributed to the project made
a
++copy consisting of the "evershare/droplift" tracks
that
++they thought to be the best and passed it on?
Okay okay, I'm an extremist. ;) That's cool too. And
more flexible.
Have a creative chat!
