That's excellent: thinking that the sounds themselves contain intelligence.

...the tricky part is, what is intelligence? Everyone's impulse is to say
"It's what I have." ...You're sure? You know every way consciousness arises=
?

Me, I'd like to replace Xenakis' word "intelligence" with "heart", but of
course that's intellectually totally indefensible.
