Re: [microsound] sound-psychology

some ideas.....

1- people choose two sounds, the first they like and the second they do
dislike. Then you make them ear(e)d the 'bad' sound and see at which
level -in dbA, I think you should always work in dBA - they are disturbed
by doing something else (reading, etc.). Then you you start again with the
other sound 'the good one- and see if the level at which they are disturbed
is still the same. Problem : level of the good sound... ok ok but that s
just ideas...

2- An experience was made with aromas - odeur in french - to study the
olfactive memory. People smelt 100 aromasand one year later -it means you
need time...- they had to smell 200 aromas and say if they already smelt it
one year ago - more than 90% good answers...-. Do the same with sounds.

3- As acoustic is really physically near to optics (diffraction law etc.),
is there link between the frequences of the colours and sounds we like
(relatively to the spectrum)?

if you dont understand all my meanings, (do I myself?), it would be easier
for me to explain it in french...
