I respect eastern thought but I always keep in my mind that I am a child of
the so called west. what we can say of the intuitions of the pre-socratic
thinkers...
I am not
fond in the game western vs. eastern thinking as I'm conceived
that they have a lot of similarities and they are overlapping
in many ways even in their differences. I mentioned Spinoza
because he has spoken extensively on intellect & mind & intuition.
Furthermore, Spinoza addresses many-many more things than that.
just to cheer up a 'Zen haikou' from Spinoza:
The human mind is part of the infinite intellect of God [where God let's
put Nature]

Even thinking can be intuitive! It depends the thinking...
