i'm not sure why you'd limit this list and membership to gear.  i expect that
we're all in this community for aesthetic and philosophical purposes (insert
the usual disclaimer, apologizing for speaking for microsound's members) that
override mere production concerns.  since the house PA is source-agnostic, i
think the poetics of space and spectacle are a far more pressing concern for
performing members on this list, whether they're using nord micromodulars,
dave smith evolvers, ms20s or a powerbook.  the amp and refrigerator hum, bar chatter,
lack of air conditioning or hostile sound guy's as big a concern to, i dunno, wilt as it is francisco
lopez, surely.

then again, i could be reading way too much into this.  if so, sorry.
