As an organiser of a small event, there are some issues to this that I would
be concerned about. Different countries have different approaches and vastly
varying facilities (both as spaces and as financial aid for events).
Sometimes things just go wrong for some reason, and it would be a bit unfair
of the musician who was - admittedly unfortunately - on the receiving end to
slam that venue based on his/her experience of one event.

In locations where it is hard to host 'new' or 'experimental' events it
would be a shame if artists were put off going to a place because something
went wrong for another person. It's hard enough getting support to even host
events in some places without the artists ganging up against you as well.

Of course it works the other way if the feedback is positive!

...But maybe the venues should be encouraged to join the forum so they can
get some feedback and improve the conditions/facilities - otherwise there
wouldn't seem to be much point 'for future generations'

As a performer I can see the attraction of this idea also, but spare a
thought for the struggling event organiser - ideal situations are hard to
come by in some places :-)
