[microsound] re: 7econds - new microsound project

When I first heard a theory perhaps the predecessor of this one was in
the mid 80s. It was in the context of being able to parse a piece of
primarily image based info.  

What I'm interpreting in the above (righty or wrongly) is one can be
optimally hit someone with different audio information bytes in 7 second
intervals and the typical person can assimilate the gist at that rate.

Now what strikes me regarding these calculations is that audio in a
sound art context is already intrinsically a time based medium. It
differs greatly from a general examination of information (including
info conveyed through audio) because these media have an indeterminate
time dimension that can be optimally assigned
