I use a MOTU 828 with OSX 10.2 and its very unreliable. Build quality is
appalling. Tech support nil. Biggest mistake of my life.

Looking at Metric Halo Mobile I/O ULN-2 & 2882 these look like nice devices.
The ULN-2 even runs off batteries. Great for field recording.
Anyone had any experience with this gear?
