Re: [microsound] audio input in PC laptops again

I am more addressing your orginal question than this one, but it sickens me that people are only telling you expensive (firewire, rme) or shaky solutions (usb or powerbook). I purchased for 179 U.S. dollars an echo indigo IO that has a stereo input and a stereo output that supports 24 bit 96khz recording and sounds fantastic, its a pcmcia card and you can find it here www.audiomidi.com.

hello,

thanks all of you for comments and suggestions.
you mentioned about many equipments its driver problems.
what about linux drivers? which can be used with linux without problems?

about usb/fireWire and jitter problems - maybe use of PC card can be a solution?

best,
