I am running some tests on iHP 140 - the same as 120 but 40GB HD instead of
20GB.
They don't have manual setting of recording level - that is a big
disappointment. But fortunately
the AGC (automatic gain control) is pretty decent for field recording
purposes.
Another drawback is that there are no meters for monitoring the soundlevel.
I guess both these things might improve in future software updates.
One more thing, you can't have a standard dynamic microphone connected
(unless you're interested in additional noice) - since the levels on the
input seems to be designed for electret condenser type microphones.
Otherwise it is a really creative and inspiring tool!

P.S. Sorry, being so technically oriented - but I think this might have a
place on this list as these machines will have a great impact on future
music and sound recording.
