Well, the first I'd ever heard it "used" was back
in the 80's from a group called the Doktors for
Bob. They were apart of that whole Church of the
Sub Genius thing. I think that was `84 or so, in
one of there recruitment videos. Those guys are a
riot, really smart, over the top and just plain
funny.

I think the term glitch got it's main usage after
the mid 80's no-wave acts started to use it in
their electronic pieces. Then I remeber it
finding it's way into the "popular" techno scene
right when rave culture started to go belly up
arround 1990. I think that is where industrial
and techno first split into different scenes &
had it's last affiliation stylistically.
