Re: using recorded tracks/drum machines (a bit off  topic) The English 
electro rock band Scarlet Soho use these, yet are fairly  exciting to watch. (my 
recommendation) They looked shite using a live drummer,  these 
wooden things coming out and waving around behind  the front man spoiled the 
artificiality of it all. (though nothing wrong with  live drummers in other 
bands: Banco de Gaia? Godspeed.......? for  example)
