uh, sure. I would think so - if you follow free jazz into free improvisation (canonically AMM or MEV) and how those practitioners have expanded their techniques (or not) and uphelp a spirit of collective or solo improvisation with whatever may be available.

obivious example is List Man Kim Cascone + Keith Rowe's "With Hidden Noise".

relate yr glitche/noise to timbres and gestures used by Ayler or Ornette Coleman and their groups. we're very distant cousins, musically, at least I think so.

Is improvised microsound/glitch/noise related to free jazz or maybe even a
sub-genre of free jazz?
