hello to CHESSMACHINE special canadian friends and friends arriving in 
canada soon...

as you know...
ivan pavlov (COH) and i will be performing our new work
CHESSMACHINE on weds june 2 for the opening of the 2004 edition of 
Mutek.
and it will also be the launch of the CHESSMACHINE cd on Mutek_rec.
we are very excited about this.


CHESSMACHINE unearthed a curious bit of trivia as we prepared the 
elements of the performance....

......in times of the cold war it was found that opposing 
countries/elements would place hypnotists in the audience of chess 
matches to try and mesmerize the opponent's player.....


CHESSMACHINE would like to ask you a small aesthetic favor.
as the entire performance and project is based around the color theme 
of pink and blue as the competitive elements on our provisional 
chessmachine board and the event will be set up as a chess match....

CHESSMACHINE would LOVE for you to wear ensembles incorporating pink or 
blue (or pink and blue) to the performance... or perhaps even just a 
pink or blue flower on your lapel?


CHESSMACHINE would be greatly appreciative if you would be in the 
audience as our color coded conceptual hypnotists.
please feel free to color code to your "player"

and please tell others as well.
