My question wasn't rhetorical. I was simply trying to disambiguate the original statement and inquire which of the two possible meanings Mr. Kruger was trying to convey. Though I would also agree that the real evil is that dissent is seen as un-patriotic, which is something the 'founding fathers' (who, ironically, so many of the folks in the 'dissent is un-patriotic and therefore evil' camp want to appeal to and/or worship) would have agreed with (not that I myself worship in the congregation of the 'founding fathers', but I still find this irony amusing). But neverminding all the political stuff my wheels are turning on this HSS and possible implications for a purely sonic musickal production interface (i.e. a non-visual, non-tactile interface that even blind people could use to create musick/sound art and sighted people could use without concern for visually biased mediation in sound production). Possibly more on that later. I'm working on an article about the idea.
