i was just mentioning it in passing; the issues are linked, and mp3 
is the most popular format in digital ditribution right now unless i'm 
missing something.

um...then where else?  do you mean, burn your own CD and take it 
elsewhere?

yeah...interesting (and not too far away from what i said), but i 
guess i like the artist being in control of those decisions.  from 
both sides of the fence.  i want to make those choices myself 
when putting out music, and i also want to know the visions of 
other artists.  hit me with the complete package!  even if the 
package is ultra-minimalist or "anti-packaging"; that says 
something too.
