RE: [microsound] Richard Chartier in Seattle (better than Merzbow) ;-)



I was at this show as well, and extremely frustrated by the lack of respect
for the performances in the lower level of the CHAC.  Richard did a
fantastic set in spite of the surroundings.  I feel that the strong emphasis
on more "dance" oriented electronic music caused the "experiemental/ambient"
venue to become a bit overlooked by some of the festival organizers.  For
those of you in Seattle, I strongly urge you to see, participate and provide
feedback to the organizers as to what you feel was done well and what could
use improvement.

Once again, thanks to Richard for making it to Seattle for his fantastic
performance.
