symbolic of 
mankind's evolution

and i find this no joke at all. after a set in
amsterdam of mixing digitally deconstructed sounds of
artaud's voice with electro-acoustic guitar etc...i
stayed in an cold attic apartment with a wood stove
and had to struggle to get the fire going, gripped by
a frenzy to make it work. it was as if THIS was the
single most important creative act in the world and I
must must must succeed...
