Perhaps you could also considder the use of urine. Urine here would
symbolise the waste products of human progress and as a added bonus it also
man made itself and more effective than hands and teeth in the destruction
of electrical cerquits. Potentially it would also maintain the
selfdestructive elements of rock music´s performance idiom since you would
potentially shock yourself. I´m reminded of a quote of the esteemed
philosopher P. Smith when she wrote "The transformation of waste is perhaps
the oldest perocupation of man", she also wrote at length about the use of
urine in live performance (especially as a indication of the quality of the
performance) in her text "Babylogue".
